Jodie, Kristin and Craig (my husband) were the founding members of My Party Design, but due to Craig’s changing role at work, which found him working 60 hours a week, I took over his role in the business,
It is coming up to our 1 year Birthday for My Party Design, and it is a very exciting time! May is also Oskar’s Birthday, I like to think that he was the inspiration for our business, at the time I was looking for something different in my invitations. Oskar was and still is a very big Wiggles Fan (along with his big cousin Bailey) My sister Natalie had planned to use a Winnie the Pooh template for her daughters 1st Birthday that was also coming up, but this place didn’t offer me any other design to use for my budding little wiggle! I was talking to Jodie about it and she designed an invitation for him and made Oskar the 5th Wiggle it was so gorgeous (but due to copy write I can’t show you)
So yes this has been a great learning curve for me but it has been very rewarding too, to see that someone like me, just a regular mum with not much computer or business knowledge can do things like organise photo shoots, and upload pictures onto the website and become html savvy….
